2007 Events

It includes all of the Halifax Scooter Council club rides and events, as well as other festivals and do’s which many of u s typically attend, including the Atlantic Film Festival, Jazz Fest, Buskers Festival and many others.
Weekly ride, Vespa Halifax, 2pm Saturdays-The Halifax Scooter Council meets at the shop on Saturdays at 2pm for an hour to one and a half hour ride. Routes can include a jaunt into downtown Halifax for a cappuccino, a ride to the hot dog stand at York Redoubt (Justin's buying), out to The Chicken Burger in Bedford for lunch, or to Lawrencetown beach for a splash in the waves. Rides commence in May and can go through to November or December. This social event is a good opportunity to meet like-minded folk, and share tales of scooter fun and horror!

Boston Scooter Rally, June 15-17th
And Boston… A few of us have already made our plan s to RIDE TO BOSTON for the Boston Stranglers’ Rally June 15th to 17th. Will you be amongst the adventurous? To date, it’s Justin Grant, Erin Trainor, Mary Otto, BJ Chapman and myself scooting down. I can’t wait! There’s also news about the 74th Crusaders holding a Casino night in the spring. Might make for a good excuse to ride to the Valley, no?

Marc is working on other discounts with local merchants and we’ll have that info posted on the club website soon. Halifax Biker Bash 2007-
We’ve got a booth, the club has a booth, and the new all-girls club has a booth. Want to participate by helping out at one of the booths or enter your scoot in the Scooter category for the show’n’shine competion? Drop me an email or give me a ring at the shop for the details. I can put you in touch with Erin regarding membership of the girls club too

Cabot Trail Ride, August 8th -11th. It’s on! Those who have committed to this ride are trucking/trailering their scoots to the Causeway and then riding the Cabot Trail over three days. Note that this is the week right before the Rally in the Valley, hosted by your very own Halifax Scooter Council. For those who are attending both events, you’ll be riding the trail and then heading direct to the Rally. Rally in the Valley, Annapolis Royal, August
11th to 13th, 2006-It's the 7th Annual Halifax Scooter Council's Rally
in the Valley! Come out and see what makes this the biggest scooter
event in the Maritimes. Camping (or stay in a B&B nearby), scooter
riding, and scooter games fill this always-too-short weekend. Want to
